Please excuse me....

So, we have been having some trouble at the Sacks home with our computer.  Grrr.... I hate computer problems!  So while this post will not have many pictures (the only ones I have are the boys doing some painting), it will have a few things to share about our lives right now.  Here is the run down:

Justin is done with intern year!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can I get a Hallelujah and an Amen!!!!  Although I do not think it was as bad as some of our friends, it was no picnic.  One year down, 4 more to go!  Justin was crazy excited to start Radiology.  And we are 3 weeks into it and he is loving every minute of it!  Also, some big news, Justin is getting published!  It's all about this new drug that is still legal and a bunch of people are dying from it. He treated someone at Baylor and they too passed away.  He is also getting some good pats on the back from saving this guys life by checking something that no one else thought to check.  He has given 2 presentations now at different conferences (one with over 800 Dr's) on this guy and is getting some great recognition for it (and if you know Justin, its making him extremely shy and nonchalant about it).  So pretty much, I have an amazing husband. It's ok, be jealous.

I am just trying to keep people happy and healthy (some days I really win at it, and others...not so much).  For right now, we have been on house arrest with sickness, including me.  Justin thinks I got some sort of salmonella bug and I think it has finally run it's course.  I am hoping once Cohen get's into school I can get going on more photography.  That's a hope though, not a definite :)  I also am constantly working on an endless about of projects at my house (Surprised? Then you don't know me at all).  My latest is a re-do on an armoire and a total revamp on my laundry room.  Picture to follow...

Cohen starts school in 5 weeks.  WHAT?!  5 WEEKS!!!  I was reading a book that talked about the first day of kindergarten and I started to cry.  I am going to be an absolute mess.  He is super excited and keeps telling me, "Don't worry Mom, I'll come back!".  We do pre school for about 30-45 min every day and he is finally starting to catch on.  I think his biggest problem in school will be what my biggest problem in school was.  Learning not to talk so much.  He talks to EVERYONE.  And if you talk back to him, that's just an open invitation to talk some more. I was a talker when I was younger and I can see that in Cohen.

Jace is going to be devastated when Cohen leaves him. But, after a few weeks, I'm sure he'll take on the roll of big brother well with getting Carter to do what he wants real quick.  Jace is my obedient one.  He just is well behaved.  Although he is a little bit of a cry baby, he really is a good kid.  He is way into his train tracks right now and I am super impressed with how he comes up with ways to put them together and he is always so excited to show me what he has made.

Carter.  Ummm...  lets just say we are hitting the toddler stage hard.  Cohen and Jace got into things like any other baby, but Carter, he goes above and beyond.  He climbs onto anything and every thing.  He get's out tampons under my sink on a regular basis.  He climbs on the kitchen table to eat out of the boys breakfast bowls and then throws them on the floor (with milk still in them).  He is constantly in the toilet or putting things in it.  He is also a screamer.  Happy, sad, excited, hurt, mad.... he screams about it.  And church?  We live out the in hall ways for 3 hours taking turns between Justin and I.  He is a pure terror at church.  But as my brother says, we are just getting our hall way blessings.  I am sending him to nursery next week, it's 3 weeks early and I don't care.  As for sleeping though, I can not remember the last time I got up with him at night.  He is still an AMAZING sleeper and I'll take that any day!

K- that's it!  I hope to get things up and working again soon.  Stay tuned...
