Induction date is set for this Wednesday the 23rd. We are so super excited to meet our little Carter boy and I am just as excited to NOT be pregnant again for a while. This pregnancy has been so much more tiring and uncomfortable then with Cohen or Jace. My AMAZING mother came in town on Saturday and we are so glad she is willing to help us out. So keep checking back and we will get pics posted as soon as we can!
In the last few weeks, we have gone from having over a foot and a half of snow accumulated in our back yard and temps staying consistently in the single digits or teens to it getting up to the 50's and melting all of it away! We have not seen the grass for 3 months so we were over joyed to see it again and even happier to actually be able to go out side and play a little! Here are a few pics from our snow day and then our spring day. On our snow day, Toledo was declared a level 3 emergency day which means that only emergency vehicles are allowed on the road or you can get a ticket. I was more than happy to have Justin home for the day. We played in the snow and did a little painting. It was a perfect day to be stuck inside with one another! Life is grand!!!
Jace was not the biggest fan of the snow...takes after his mother :) I think he was even more mad at the fact that he could not figure out how to walk in it. But then again, how would you when the snow is at your hips!
Justin's snow angel.
Cohen LOVED being in the snow. Which made me feel a little bad since there has been snow on the ground for 3 months and this is the first time I have let him play in it this year. It's just to dang cold to go play in the snow here!
I know what your thinking, "I did not know Julie was a fantastic artist?". Really, I do surprise my self sometimes.
A Glimpse Of Spring:
Dang it Jace, would you just smile normally....that would be a negative Mom, I only know how to cheese it up!
This is my sweet little doggy. We call him doggy Jace. He loves to eat cereal out of a bowl and chase after what ever toy he can find on the ground and then puts it in his mouth. He makes for a great house puppy! Have you ever seen a cuter doggy? I think not!
I am so blessed to have met some really great friends here in Toledo. Cohen has been equally blessed and Matthew is one of his favorites. I love having these two kids over. They are all so funny to watch interact with each other! And I esp love to hear little Taylor talking. She says some pretty funny things! These kids will be very much missed in our home when they move in June.
