Thanksgiving In South Lake

My sister once again saved us from having to eat by our selves in Ohio and brought us out to Dallas for Thanksgiving. The best part was that my parents and brother Chad and his family were also there to join the fun. We had a great time as always and missed the rest of the family that was not able to make it. Here are some highlights from the trip.
Ice skating at the Galleria.

Going to see ICE at the Gaylord Resort. Theme this year was Charlie Brown. It was amazing to see all the things they carved out of ice and it was also amazing at how freak'n cold they can get an inside of a building to keep the sculptures frozen!

Eating my Mom's amazing Turkey!
Seeing an old friend from Midland and meeting her incredibly cute little girl, Savannah!

Playing pool tournaments with the family.

Having cousins to play with.

One more post to come about Thanksgiving once I can get on the laptop to get the pics off of it!

30 Weeks and counting

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by, and even more scary, I can't believe I'm on my 3rd kid! I am already 30 weeks along and things are going smoothly. I am so glad for the timing of this little one because Justin has 9 interviews in January and I feel that it will be a good occupier of my time during that horrid month! Plus it helps keep my mind off of March 17th (the day we find out where we are moving to for residency!). I start having an anxiety attack just thinking about that day!

FYI: Justin will be interviewing at these places in January
Baylor Dallas
Nebraska
Pennsylvania
West Virgina
Orlando,FL
Tampa, FL
Canton, OH (we may cancel that one)
Beaumont, in Michigan
Indianapolis
That comes out to be 2 or more interviews a week in January. We may also cancel the West Virgina one. I'm so glad we are at that point where we can cancel some and not feel bad about it. Justin has officially gotten 15 interviews! GO JUSTIN!!!!

Sacks and Lau Family Photo Shoot

I secretly would love to be a professional photographer. Unfortunately I have a LONG way to go before I could ever get there. But until then, I will just pretend! And plus I'm sure every other person out there with a slr camera wishes for that. Here are my recent attempts to be an amazing photographer.
A special thanks to the Lau family for being my test subjects!

Next project is new born pics... I have a good friend that is going to let me take pics of her baby soon and I seriously loose sleep over it hoping that they will turn out well. I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about different ideas of how to take them and what props to use. If you have any ideas, please send them my way!

FYI

I finally finished my Utah posts but, since I started them last month, blogger is putting them in chronological order so if you are interested in seeing them, you have to scroll down a little ways. My goal is to get caught up on blogging so I am not blogging about Christmas in February. I don't get it, I am so good about getting my Christmas cards out on time but I just can't seem to do it with blogger!

Provo Tabernacle

My sister in law called me yesterday with some very sad news. The Provo Tabernacle went up in flames a couple days ago. The 7 years I lived in Utah, my single and married wards always held stake conferences in this building. It was such a pretty building and so rich with history. What a sad sad loss. They don't know how the fire started and they don't know if they will be able to save it or not. Click HERE to read the full story.
