Christmas: Part 2

Christmas morning was so fun with Cohen. He was dying to open ALL the presents. The first week we were there he kept asking me if he could open the "prises". So when the time finally came, he was more than ready to dive in.
We tried so hard to get an amazingly cute picture of the boys in there new pj's.... this was the best we could do.

He LOVES his new vacuum and Thomas the Train. Before, when ever I vacuumed, Cohen would quickly grab his train and push it behind me every where I went, now he can feel a little more like Mom and push a vacuum look alike... and now Mom is thinking she should of gotten a real vacuum.... that could of saved her from doing all the vacuuming!
My father-in-law retired from the Mormon Tab Choir this year and my mother in law had this framed for him. They have been documenting pics of the Tab Choir every year and this is the last one they are going to be taking for the next 100 years and John was able to be in it. (Where he always was, second row up, third for the women!)

As for Jace, the plan was to get him nothing at all, but I just could not bring my self to do that. So 2 days before Christmas I broke down and got him a cow ball that vibrates. This was his reaction:
He hated it and still does.
After we opened presents, the rest of Justin's family arrived and we played out the Christmas story. Cohen made for a great Shepard.
Although my nephew Jackson made an even better King Harrod. He was ticked off the whole story.

Good Game

OK, so I totally thought that would be harder than it was. It was Cohen. The only thing that made me see the difference is the wall paper in the back ground. It was taken down when I was prego with Jace. And now here is why we could not tell the difference. I tried to recreate the pic as best I could. I think there eye's, nose and mouth are just the same. It's Cohen's big head and round face that give him away.

Let's Play a Game: Cohen or Jace

This picture popped up on our screen saver yesterday and Justin and I could not tell if this was Cohen or Jace. So we decided to take a poll. Post your answer and we will see who is right in a few days.

Christmas Part 1

So I am finally getting around to posting our Christmas vacation and as I am looking at all the pics, I am overwhelmed by the amount that I took and just can't decide on a few. So here we go with Christmas pics, installment number one: Our Ski Trip.

For Christmas this year Justin and I decided not to buy any presents for one another and to just do stockings for each other and to treat our selves to a day of skiing at the Canyons (our favorite ski resort in Park City). It was great not to worry about the stress of Christmas presents and even better to spend a day with one another with out the kiddos (thanks to John and Kathi). Justin and I had an amazing time. With us being out here in Ohio and from past pregnancies, I have not been out on the slopes for about 3 years. I was a little rusty the first half of the day getting back into the groove of it, but by the end of the day I was skiing down blacks and blacks with moguls (and that is not at all because I got lost and separated from Justin and it was my only option of getting down the hill... right, that was not it at all :)

Just taking a rest.
Whoa... look out Olympics, here comes the top snowboarder of the season!Eating lunch, I needed time to thaw out my toes.

You can't tell me I don't look adorable in this get up.

We made it to the end of our day with out any broken bones... although we felt like our legs were about to fall off.
What would a trip through Heber be with out stopping at Granny's?

My New Favorite Thing

I was talking to Cohen about "Grandma Rigtrup" this morning and Cohen said,
"Damma Big Truck?"
I love my Cohen.

Nice Cape

With out any instruction from Mom, Cohen came up to me wanting to wear his cape. I put it on and he said...

Christmas Pics to come soon!
